The Woman Behind the Computer

I am not a robot I swear! I am a country girl living on the Upper East Side of the Concrete Jungle otherwise known as Manhattan. My friends call me a Modern Day Renaissance woman. I have dabbled in a little bit of everything, from yoga instructor to holistic chef, to skating coach, to glorified nanny, to student. Life is to short to be pigeon-hold into one thing. I am a self admitted coffee junkie. A wannabe mermaid. A wanderluster who dreams of traveling daily. A fashionista who really does need a bigger bank account. But most important of all, I dream of living in a bungalow by the ocean, being a writer in style of course though not starving please, sipping coffee in the morning and a martini in the evening. I love to meet my readers, so feel free to comment or email me. Happy reading!

  1. Wow. This touched me incredibly deeply. Thank you for always sharing your heart and for this raw encouragement. I don’t think there is anyone out there that wouldn’t relate to this. There is a real pressure in this world to present ourselves a certain way. But there is such a freedom in just allowing yourself to stop caring what others’ think, to be you, to be honest and true (and I know we have chatted about- vulnerable). I am learning this all the time. It’s not easy, but it’s reminders like this one that can truly help change my perspective and others’ as well. I feel like there is so much more I can say, but just thank you, thank you so much for sharing this. xo

    1. Awe thank you for your sweet words and for your own encouragement. It is people like you who keep making me want to share and open up. It is incredibly scary, but it becomes less so when I realize how much we are all on this crazy rollercoaster called life together. You are so right. It was actually as I was writing this, that that conversation came to mind. No it isn’t. We all need those reminders and the support of each other. We really are more alike then unalike. I am glad you enjoyed this. Thank you for your support. It means the world to me! ❀

  2. Love this post, love your honesty. I’m way on the other side of the pond in the North of England and like you, have major wanderlust, think Mermaids are fantastic – Ariel is my favourite Disney Princess – and just the other day I told my mum that I wanted to find a little bungalow to live in! If I am ever lucky enough to get myself one, you should make your way over here and come visit! I might not manage a bungalow looking out to the ocean, but I do live in a seaside town πŸ˜€
